Waterbury Rec After school is a licensed-exempt (33 V.S.A. § 3502) recreational program for children in grades K through 6th. Children will engage in a variety of fun, enriching, and engaging activities such as sports, group games, field trips (Thursdays), homework support, and time to unwind at the end of the school day. Kid's in this program will primarily be outdoors as long as weather permits but will also utilize the recreation building for homework, poor weather, and indoor group activities. Each Thursday we will travel somewhere off-campus in the rec van to go explore (ie: Ben and Jerry's, Harwood Sporting events, etc.). Any additional costs for a trip (ie: money for snacks, drinks, swimming) will be conveyed prior to the trip but transportation is always covered.
