Beginner Pickleball LessonsLearn to play pickleball with Chelsea Lisaius, an international pickleball player. Have you wanted to learn how to play pickleball? Sign up for beginner pickleball lessons. Waterbury Recreation is hosting two lessons take place on Monday, July 14 and Wednesday, July 16 from 7am-9am. The 2-hour lessons breakout: first hour is instruction, and the second hour is analyzed play. Location: Tennis Courts at 27 Butler St, WaterburyCost per lesson: $35 for residents, $45 for non-residents. Discount of $10 if you register for both lessons. Minimum 4 players and a maximum of 8 per lessonAbout the Instructor: Chelsea Lisaius is ranked #14 in Central America, Represented Costa Rica in the Pickleball World Cup, is an Association of Pickleball Players (APP) and a National gold medalist, and a Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) medalist. Waterbury Pickleball ClassicA feel good tournament to dink into the world of pickleball competition. Proceeds from the tournament support scholarships for our summer camp. The tournament will take place on Friday, July 18 from 5pm - 8pm. This is a teams (2 player) tournament. Teams can sign up for one of three pools: Kids, Beginner, and Intermediate. The pools are also divided by gender, and age brackets*. We may decrease the number of categories if there are limited sign-ups. Sign-ups end on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:59pm.   No team or player can sign up for more than 2 categories. If you are a mixed gender team, you will play in the Boys or Mens category. If your teammate is a different ranking than you, you will play in the category of the higher ranking. Categories:1.
