Kickball for a Cause Tournament!
When: Saturday, August 24, 2024, 10:00am-5:00 pm
Where: Dac Rowe Athletic Fields
What: A one-day kickball tournament to benefit the Waterbury Recreation Summer Camp Scholarship Fund. Teams of at least 10 players compete at the first annual kickball tournament for the championship trophy and year-long bragging rights.
Who: Anyone who wants to play kickball!

All proceeds from the event help support Waterbury Recreation Summer Camp scholarships. The Waterbury Recreation Summer Camp strives to support every camper attend our camp. We have a small scholarship fund that we are looking to grow to support Waterbury kids enjoy summer.
General Overview: Games will be 10 v 10. It is recommended that you have about 15 players on your team. Teams must be made up of multiple genders and have multiple genders on the field at all times.
The playoff bracket will be determined randomly. Every team will have one game, which will then decide the subsequent games.
Players can bring their own t-shirts or use the provided pinnies to differentiate opponents.
Games will be timed at 1 hour or 7 innings, whichever is shorter. Teams will receive a 45 minute warning, and can only complete the full (bottom and top) inning currently in play.
The Finals will be a full 7 innings, regardless of time.
The games will be reffed by players from teams that are not actively playing. Refs and players are to follow the WAKA kickball rules (WAKA Kickball Rules).
