WRAA




  • In order to attend, your child will need to be symptom-free of any illness that’s not documented by a physician.


  • Your child will need to read a temperature below 100.4 at drop-off. In order to maintain safety, if your child reads 100 or higher, we will most likely have them stay home for day.


  • Please send your child with a mask, snack, lunch & and any technology needed to attend virtual learning segments. Please also send headphones in order to keep the background noise in the building down during virtual calls.


  • Send your child with winter gear (snow pants, jacket, gloves, hat, boots, and a change of clothes in case they get theirs wet). This is required to go outside during the winter months.


  • Please send a schedule with any zoom/google hangouts needing to attend for the day so that we may assist your child with signing on at the time of their call(s).


  • Each child will be assigned a station upon arrival. Each station is designated by a cardboard divider with a number. Your child may remove their mask once seated at their station, behind the divider, but will need to wear it when getting up. The other exception to not wearing a mask is during physical activity.


  • The behavioral policy from the summer day camp parent handbook (found on our website, under forms) applies to the academy.




 
The daily schedule is below:
 
8:00am – 8:30am / Drop-off & check-in. If you arrive after 8:30am and there are no staff outside, please ring the doorbell at the bottom of the ramp. Please do not knock on the door as parents are not allowed in the building, due to COVID regulations.
8:30am – 9:45am / Academic time. This includes homework, zoom/google hangouts, reading, and any other assignments that may be due. If all homework is done, children should either read or use their technology in a quiet manor.
9:45am – 10:00am / Snack 
10 – 10:30am / Recess. This is a time to break from screen usage and get outside (if weather permits)
10:30am – 11:30am / Academic time. 
11:30am – 12:00pm / Lunch time. 
12:00pm – 2:00pm / Rec time! Kids will get another chance to get a screen break and play outside (if weather permits)
2 – 2:15pm / Snack
2:15 - 4:00pm / Rec time! Kids will get another chance to get a screen break and play outside (if weather permits)
5:00pm / Pick-up. If you pick your child up before 5:00pm, please ring the doorbell at the bottom of the ramp.

The parent handbook for summer camp applies to camp (found under forms). If the Academy has to close for any reason, parents will be notified, and refunds will be issued (if applicable).
