Waterbury Rec Summer Day Camp is expanding K-7 this summer!
Children who have just finished kindergarten through 3rd grade will be based at Anderson Field at the Rec Building (next to the pool). Available spots for this location are 80.
Children who have finished 4th grade to 7th grade will be based out of the Community Space in the Methodist Church (across from the Fire Station). Available spots for this location are 40.
Kids will be dropped off and picked up at their respected locations. In the mornings, both locations will do age specific activities at their home base location: K-3 at Anderson Field and 4-7 at Dac Rowe/Rusty Parker Park. Both camps will have lunch at their bases or the senior center, then will complete all camp activities together at Anderson Field (swimming, games, etc.)
We have 8 field trips planned; one for each week of camp! Vermont Lake Monsters ‘Camp Day’ Baseball Game (Burlington), Groton State Park Beach (Groton), Rock of Ages (Barre), The Vermont Car Show (Waterbury), Ben & Jerry’s (Waterbury), Municipal Department Tour (Waterbury), and Elmore State Park (Elmore). Both camps will travel together to the same field trips.
Online registration opens on Town Meeting Day (March 5th) at 8:00am.
There will be 5 spots available per-week for registration at the rate of $150/$175 Resident/Non-resident.
8 week registration is $700/$750 Resident/Non-resident.
You may not register for both the 8-week and the single week options.
No sibling discount. A non-refundable $50 deposit is due within 10 days of registration in order to hold spot.
Half of remaining balance is due within full by April 29th.
Balance paid in full is due by May 31st.
Failure to pay within the given deadlines above will result in forfeiture of spot.
