Beginner Ukulele: Level 1

This light-hearted class will help you learn the chords and strums you need to play your favorite tunes! We'll explore the mechanics of playing, learn a super-easy music theory tool, and gain confidence in playing with others. Bring a ukulele and clip-on tuner or rent a uke for $20 for the four-week class (if you love it, your rental fee will count towards purchase). Contact instructor Clare (ukuleleclare@gmail.com) as soon as you can to let her know you’ll need a uke to rent or purchase - or if you want advice in picking a ukulele of your own. This class is geared for adults age 18+

Date: Tuesdays, February 5, 12, 19 & 26 (snow/make-up day- March 5th)

Location: Steele Room at the Waterbury Municipal Office (28 N. Main St. Waterbury, Vt)
Program Fees: $55 residents / $60 non-residents
