We provide quality recreation in Waterbury for our residents and visitors! From our five parks, to our public pool, to recreation activities and events; we strive to maintain safe and affordable services in our community.
Department Information
The Waterbury Recreation Department is part of the Town of Waterbury. We operate our department in partnership with other town departments, local organizations, and volunteers. We know that recreation has a different meaning for everyone. Our Department is proud to have a broad definition of recreation from indoor activities, to simply being outdoors, to advanced sports and athletic skill levels.
We currently have one full-time staff member, Recreation Director, Erika Linskey. We do our best to respond to messages and emails in a timely manner, yet please know that we are often running the programs, maintenance, and clean-up for the department.
Park Hours:
Dawn to Dusk; and when lights are on at Anderson Park or Dac Rowe.
